We made cookies today! We have also written a set of instructions of how we made them making sure we used our imperative verbs!
We have had some visitors in school!
In Year 3 we are learning about the Vikings. We had a Viking come into school to teach us some facts about what it was like to be a Viking. We got to make flour, play Viking games, make a Viking coin, weave and dress up! We had an amazing day!
3H have been asked to take part in the Dance Festival at King George's Hall. If you would like your children to take part please ensure that the permission slip has been sent back into school. This will take place on 2nd March 2016.
These are our Spring half term targets for English and Maths. We will be focussing on these during lessons.
We have been learning about the properties of 3D shapes. We each made our own cubes! We had to measure each straw really carefully to make it accurate.
We has lots of fun at the end of Autumn term. We really enjoyed the Christmas dinner, we all sat together to eat out lunch.
In our P.E lessons this half term we have been practising a Roman dance! We made shields in art and used them in out dance. Everybody tried really hard and we all worked as a team!
Our stall for the Christmas Fair was a photo booth. People loved coming to our stall and having their picture taken. Here are some of our photo's that were taken.
We have been on a trip to Blackburn Museum. This trip will help us with our new topic which is Lancashire! We will be learning all about Lancashire and where we live.
When we visited Blackburn Museum Rebecca and Mike told us some super stories which we are going to use in our English work.
This week in maths we have been collecting data ready to present it on our own bar chart! Ask us about how we have collected the data.
On Friday 9th October we celebrated SEWA Day. This is a day where we do something nice for another person. We made cakes for a special person to thank them for what they do.
