This is the home of 3M, a place to see what's going on, find out what your children have been learning and to see pictures and videos of exciting activities.
Please come along to our class assembly on Friday 22nd May at 9 am. Our assembly will include singing, stories and videos.
Summer Term in Year 3....
PE is now on a Monday afternoon.
Swimming is still on a Tuesday.
Spellings will be sent home on Monday.
This week we have talked about our class rules. We wrote done our rules and then talked about which ones we thought were the most important. The rules are on display in the classroom.

Homework for Spring
There is a new homework grid stuck into your red homework book, please complete all your homework in your homework book. You must try and do one piece of homework a week from the grid.
We Love Reading
This term we would like to find out what type of books you like to read at home. Bring in your favourite book to school and tell the class why you have chosen it. It can be a story book, a football book, a Minecraft book, a cooking book.......you decide!
All of Year 3 will be performing songs from Lancashire and songs about castles and birds on Thursday at 2.20pm. Come along and watch them sing.
PE this term will be on a Wednesday.
We will be dancing like a Roman!

The Big Idea
These boots are made for walking!
What’s the furthest distance you’ve ever walked? How far could you walk? How do we get to places and have we always travelled like this? We’re going to discover amazing facts about life in the Roman army and find who would make the best Roman soldier!
This half term we will be looking Print Making and developing our skills.
Each Monday Year 3 children have the chance to visit our School library. All books must stay in school.
This half term the children will continue to work on
E-Safety. We will start to use I Pads in our lessons.
In English we will be starting to increase our independent writing skills through Rainbow Writing. We’re looking forward to showing you our work!
Please encourage your child to read every night at home and sign their reading record – thank you.
Our focus for this half term is developing our written addition and subtraction skills. Ask your child to show you how we do it!
Our topic for this half term is entitled: Light and will link to the Christmas story.
Each class will take part in a series of Dance lessons led by a Dance specialist. Our work will link to The Romans. Please ensure your child has their kit. We will continue swimming on a Tuesday.
