Summer Term in 4C
The Egyptians have arrived in 4C!
We are all really enjoying our Ancient Egyptians topics.
Our favourite topic so far has been mummification, perhaps because it involves so much gore and guts!
Take a look at what we've been up to.
Tempus Fugit Theatre Company came to visit Year 4. They performed an amazing, hilarious show and taught us all so much about the Egyptians.
These are our Maths Targets for this term - How do you think you're doing?
Have you been on TopMarks website? There's lots of interactive activities on there to help you learn your times tables facts!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Welcome back to year 4! We've got an exciting new topic this term, 'The Ice Age'.
I wonder what you already know about the Arctic and Antarctica?!
Be careful, there may be some polar bears and penguins around school...
This term, we have our assembly and it is going to be all about our topic!
What do you think can be done about Global Warming?
Please add your ideas to our post-it note display in class. Parents and Carers are welcome to share their ideas too!
This term we are studying The Tudors. What do you already know?
Have you heard of William Shakespeare? We have been learning how to write playscripts and performance skills. We then put these to the test when we went to the allotment this week and performed The Tempest! It was extremely windy and did begin to rain but it didn't stop us perfoming! We focussed on our speaking skills in terms of projecting our voices as well as performing actions and facial expressions.
The weather simulated what the setting was - a storm out at sea on a ship followed by action taking place on the island. Our Narrators informed us of the story at the beginning of our play.
Find out about The Tempest by reading the story version of it!
