Welcome to Tuesday's home learning tasks.

Guided Reading

Today we will continue reading our new guided reading books. Red Reading group will read 'Little Red' and Green and Yellow reading groups will read 'A Sheep Dpi in India! Red group will read chapter 2 and complete three short tasks for this chapter; Green and Yellow groups will read chapter 2 and complete the quiz. 

WRITING

Today in your English writing work you will be reading another poem by Charles Causley: 'Green Man in the Garden'. Following this, you will either be writing about what might happen next OR writing the first part like a story but writing it in the first person, as if you are actually a part of what is going on! 

In your Grammar work you will be adding your own choices of determiner, adjective and noun to sentences. Make sure you read your sentences when you have done them!! 

MATHS

In Maths we continue our fractions work. Today we continue finding fractions of quantities to solve problems. It will be very useful if you have a pen and a piece of paper handy for today's lesson! 

TOPIC

In Topic today, you will continue your Science work. You will be explaining what various parts of the digestive system do. 

In all of the above tasks, please make sure you listen to and watch and listen to the video lessons carefully. They have been recorded to help you understand the learning you are doing and the tasks you will complete afterwards. You can watch the video lessons as many times as you need to!
