Children in Need

This week,  our Values Committee delivered their first assembly to the whole school, sharing Meadowhead Junior School's core values of Ambition, Respect, Friendship, Kindness, and Teamwork. They explained how these values will guide exciting new projects and celebrations throughout the school year.

The committee introduced our fundraising event for Children in Need, the 25 Challenge. As a school, we’ll work together to complete 25K in one week by running or walking laps around the playground. Each class will keep track of their progress and collect sponsors to raise money for children across the UK who need our help.

In addition, the Values Committee has been working incredibly hard to support the fundraising effort by selling Pudsey merchandise throughout the week. They encouraged everyone to demonstrate our school values throughout the challenge, showing ambition in setting personal goals, kindness in helping others, and teamwork by supporting one another along the way.
